Police in Blantyre today arrested a woman for setting up 3 young girls, aged 13 and 14, for sex. She is said to have locked the girls up and forced them to have sex with men from whom she was receiving at least MK2, 000 per girl.
The young girls were only rescued after a father of one of them had noticed that she had been missing for a few days and was told by neighbours that the girl was last seen with the woman. Police were alerted, and the search led them to the woman's house.
Medical examinations have shown that one of them had signs of sexually transmitted disease.
More details to follow.
